Established since 2004 at the Ardenne Abbey in Saint-Germain-la-Blanche-Herbe on the outskirts of Caen, the Imec offers accommodation and catering services.   

If needed, you can stay for several days/weeks at the Ardenne Abbey for your research (subject to availability). To do so, after booking a seat in the reading room with the library and archives help desk, contact the residence service to organize your stay at the Abbey: residence@imec-archives.com.

The restaurant is open from Tuesday lunchtime to Friday lunchtime.

Shuttles between the Caen train station and the Ardenne Abbey can be booked in advance by the residence service, corresponding with train schedules to and from Paris Saint-Lazare, from Tuesday to Friday.

You can contact the residence service Tuesday to Friday (9am-12pm).
